Kellie Martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead on The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. Her aunt, who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped her land one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. In addition to being an actress Martin is an accomplished photographer, as well as a ballet dancer. As a mother to two children, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has actively promoted Lupus since the time her younger sister passed away in the age of 19.
