Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is most well known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' Calvano was born in California she was initially interested at competitive gymnastics. Later, however, Calvano determined to pursue an acting career. Her screen debut came in the year 2010 with one of the episodes from CBS show "NCIS,". The big screen debut came a year later in the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. In the ensuing years, she has been recognized among the best young actresses working in the current industry. Her performance as 'NCIS,' was nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring an Guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. In 2013, she was nominated for yet another Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'.
